Liz McGrath is a Traveller woman, working as a Traveller Women’s Development worker, in the Traveller Visibility Group Cork.
Liz has been working with Travellers in Cork for over 15 years. Some of her work includes addressing the issues that impacting Travellers, creating events in the community to share experiences and ideas with the aim to develop collective strategies and skills to work towards the better outcomes for Travellers in Cork, and beyond. Liz promotes equality and diversity within the community, she also works with her community to improve quality of life and she represents her community on a local and national level.
