Breda has been working with TVG in different capacities since the early days of the project. She worked for many years facilitating groups, completing training in group-work, leadership, advocacy and communications skills. As Director of Advocacy Breda speaks out for Traveller rights across all areas that impact the lives of Travellers, from education and accommodation to health, employment and State legislation and policies. Breda wants to see real positive change for Travellers and believes this will be possible with an end to the last acceptable form or racism in Ireland, an end to anti-Traveller racism, discrimination and bias in Irish society. Breda works in solidarity with other human rights and anti-racism organisaitions and strongly believes in community development ethos "nothing about us, without us!". Breda is also a Traveller Cultural Awareness Trainer (TCAT) and represents TVG on a local, regional, national and international stage speaking publicly at various seminars and events.
